The brief
Introducing Four Square
Four Square works across property design and construction, including heritage and listed buildings. Its services extend from planning through to interiors and aftercare.
Our brief was to plan, design and build the website, giving the company’s work enough space to be seen properly. Visitors needed to understand what Four Square takes on and who they would be working with, as well as look through the photographs.
The relationship also includes hosting and ongoing website support. Alongside the website, Four Square asked us to design its newsletter emails.
The goal
Give people enough detail to start a conversation
The photographs needed to do much of the explaining. We wanted visitors to be able to look closely at a finished property, then find the service information relevant to their own plans.
Company and team information would help people get to know Four Square before making an enquiry. The contact route needed to be easy to find once they were ready to discuss a project.

Large photographs let visitors look through the properties and interiors. The Longfield gallery includes controls to move between photographs of the project.
Our approach
How we built and maintain the website
We worked directly with Four Square on the page structure and design, then built the website in WordPress. The homepage leads with interior photography, while the portfolio gives visitors a separate place to explore the company’s work.
The website also needed practical information alongside those images. We brought the services, company background and team into the navigation, with a contact form for people ready to discuss their plans.
Plan and design the website
We worked with Four Square to organise the content before building the pages. The design gives project photographs plenty of space, with services and contact information available through the menu.
Build the project portfolio
We built the site in WordPress, including the portfolio and its image galleries. Visitors can move through photographs of a project and use the wider site to understand the services Four Square provides.
Prepare the site for launch
Our work included technical SEO, performance and accessibility, followed by testing and handover. These were part of preparing the website for everyday use on desktop and mobile.
Keep the website maintained
We provide hosting, ongoing maintenance and technical support. Four Square can come back to us for website fixes and changes as its needs develop.
Design the newsletter emails
We also design newsletter emails for Four Square. These designs are for the emails the company shares with its audience.

Four Square has a website where prospective clients can explore its properties and learn about the work behind them. The project gallery sits alongside service details and team information, with an enquiry form when people are ready to talk.
We continue to host and maintain the website, providing technical support and website changes. Newsletter email design is also part of our ongoing work with the client.
