The brief
A website and the tools to run appointments.
Consultdoc provides online doctor consultations in the UK. The website needed to explain the service and give patients a way to book an appointment online.
The team also needed a custom platform that could support multiple doctors. Administrators had to be able to view and change appointments, while each appointment needed a Zoom call for the consultation.
We worked directly with Consultdoc across the website and platform project. The scope included functionality for doctors to issue referrals to GPs, alongside the hosting, email services and ongoing maintenance needed after launch.
The goal

Patients needed to understand the service before booking an appointment. Each booking would include a Zoom call for the consultation.
For the team, the platform had to support appointments across multiple doctors and allow administrators to make changes. Doctors also needed the ability to issue referrals to GPs as part of their work through the platform.

Our approach
Build the booking and administration tools.
We handled the website planning and design, then developed the public site and custom appointment platform. The website introduces Consultdoc’s services; the platform provides the booking and administration functionality behind the appointments.
The custom build supports multiple doctors and gives the platform administrator a way to view and change appointments. We integrated Zoom so that every appointment has a call, and added functionality for doctors to issue referrals to GPs.
The wider work included technical SEO, performance and accessibility work, testing and launch preparation. We also handled handover and provide hosting, business email services and ongoing maintenance as part of the direct client relationship.
