Who is responsible
Felix Web Solutions is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our enquiry channels.

Personal data we process
We do not run a public comments system on this site, and we do not ask you to create an account to browse it.
Contact and project enquiries —when you use the contact form or email us, we process your name, email address, and the contents of your message (and any files or links you choose to send). We use this to reply and, if relevant, to scope or deliver work.
Booking a call —if you book a call with us on /book/, the name, email address and any notes you enter are processed by Cal.com, our scheduling provider, to arrange and manage that call.
Technical logs —our hosting and security providers may process IP address, browser type, device information and pages requested, for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. This is ordinary server and CDN logging.
Spam and bot protection —our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes information about your browser and device to verify the submission is not automated.
Analytics —we use OpenPanel (openpanel.dev) to understand how this site is used. It records page views, referrers, device/browser information and approximate location derived from IP. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell analytics data.
Why we process it
Enquiries and project communication —legitimate interests in running a web design and development business and responding to people who contact us; and, where we enter a contract, processing necessary to take steps toward or perform that contract.
Security and logging —legitimate interests in keeping the site and our systems secure.
Analytics —legitimate interests in understanding how the site is used so we can improve it, or consent where the law or our cookie banner requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails and form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping (typically up to 24 months for unsuccessful enquiries, longer where they form part of a client file or legal obligation).
Server logs are retained according to our host’s defaults, usually for a short operational window.
Analytics data is kept in aggregated form according to the tool’s retention settings.
Rights under UK GDPR
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also ask for data portability where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, our tools or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you should read the new version.
