AI & sales software
From a contact list
to a researched email draft.
We built a subscription-based WordPress platform that used website research to help customers prepare personalised outreach. A CSV of contact names and website URLs became business summaries and AI-generated email drafts. Boyad is no longer live; this case study documents the completed project.

The brief
Research the businesses on a contact list.
Boyad was a subscription product for people preparing cold outreach. Its customers already had contact lists, but needed relevant information about each business to write an email that referred to something specific.
We built the WordPress website and the process behind it. Customers uploaded a CSV of contact names and company website URLs for the platform to research.
For each contact, the platform produced a business or website summary and a cold email draft. Customers could use this material to prepare their outreach.
The goal
Give each draft something specific to say.
The platform needed to turn a contact name and website address into a relevant email opening. Details from the company’s website would give each draft something specific to refer to.
Customers also needed to work through a list of contacts. CSV upload let them use their existing data, and downloadable output let them take the drafts into their own outreach process.
- Start with an existing contact list
- Accept a CSV containing contact names and the website URLs to research.
- Find useful website information
- Analyse each website and produce a summary of relevant business or site details.
- Turn research into a draft
- Use the gathered information to generate personalised cold email copy for the contact.

The archived website explains how customers supplied their list, waited for processing and downloaded the resulting email introductions.

Our approach
Build the importer, research process and credit system.
We built custom subscriptions and credit-based usage in WordPress, alongside a custom CSV importer. The importer supplied the website URLs for research and kept the contact names with their records for drafting.
The platform scanned the websites and summarised useful business information. The AI then used those findings to write personalised cold email drafts.
Custom subscriptions and usage credits
Boyad had custom subscriptions, with usage managed through credits.
Custom CSV importer
The custom importer accepted contact names and website URLs from a CSV file for research and drafting.
Website research and summaries
The platform analysed the supplied websites and produced summaries of useful business and site information.
Personalised draft generation
AI-assisted writing used the research to prepare cold email drafts. Customers could download the output for use in their own outreach process.
The outcome
A subscription product for researching outreach.
Customers could upload a contact list and download summaries and email drafts informed by the listed websites. Custom subscriptions and credit-based usage made the research and drafting tools available as a paid WordPress product.
Boyad has since been retired. The archived website shows how the subscription service and its research process worked.
