The brief
“How should website orders and enquiries reach the CRM?”
The question behind the build.Build the website and connect it to the business.
Customers needed to explore specialist products and place orders. Other visitors came for research material, articles or event information, so the website had to accommodate both shopping and research.
Working through an agency partner, we delivered the full build to the supplied design. The work extended beyond the public pages: it included moving existing business data into the new platform and connecting website activity to the company’s customer management system.
The goal
Support research, enquiries and purchases.
A visitor researching a topic and a customer ready to order arrive with different priorities. The website needed to support both, making it possible to explore the company’s knowledge and products without losing the route to an enquiry or purchase.
- Help customers buy
- Support accounts, product selection and online ordering.
- Make knowledge accessible
- Bring events, articles and resources into an organised website.
- Send enquiries and orders to the CRM
- Link website activity with the company’s customer management tools.
Search the research and resource library.
Visitors can find research material, articles and events through search and category browsing. Some resources require registration to access.

Our approach
Develop the shop, resources and CRM integrations.
We developed the content pages and online shop alongside the CRM integrations. Submitted enquiries and orders pass from the website into the company’s customer management system.
Build the buying journey
Customers can sign in, select product options and move through a basket to checkout. The build also supports shipping and delivery, connecting the product catalogue to the practical steps of placing an order.
Organise the content library
Events, blogs and resources have dedicated content structures. Custom search, category-based browsing and gated material give visitors different ways to find and access information.
Connect the business systems
API integrations send submitted forms and orders to the CRM. Enquiries and purchases therefore connect to customer management beyond the website itself.
Migrate the existing records
We imported users, orders and other records from the previous .NET platform. Those existing accounts and order records were available in the new build.
The outcome
An online shop and resource library linked to the CRM.
The delivered website gives the company one place for product discovery, online ordering and its growing collection of content. Visitors can move towards a purchase, explore a resource or find an event according to what brought them to the site.
The new website includes the migrated business records, with API connections sending enquiries and orders to the CRM. We delivered the supplied design through the agency partnership, including the shop and its integrations.
